The app

DC Metro ETA shows live train arrival times for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) rail system. The arrival boards are styled to match the LED displays on the platforms themselves, so they are instantly recognisable. The full WMATA map is always visible, so you can quickly see which direction you need to travel and where you can transfer. Available on iOS and on the web at dcmetroeta.com.

Data

Live arrivals, alerts, and the system timetable come from the public WMATA API. If you grant location permission, your location is used on your device to find the closest station. Your location data never leaves your device.
