Metro ETA
Metro and Bus in Washington DC
About
The app
Metro ETA pays homage to the Washington DC Metro and Bus system. Arrivals look like the LED boards on the platform, buses look like the real ones, and the map shows station pylons and bus stop signs. Buses move along their routes across the city. Every station has live arrivals, service alerts, elevator and escalator status, entrances and first and last trains. Save your favorites and smart widgets show the nearest one. No ads. On iOS and on the web at dcmetroeta.com.

Support
If the app has earned a spot on your home screen and you’ve come to this About page to show a little love, Ko-fi is where you can 🫶
Data
Live arrivals, alerts, and the system timetable come from the public WMATA API, with Arlington Transit and Fairfax Connector buses alongside Metrobus. If you grant location permission, your location is used on your device to find the closest station and stops. Your location data never leaves your device.
Independence
Metro ETA is an independent app and is not affiliated with any transit agency.
