Location
If you grant location permission, your coordinates are used on your device to find the closest station. They are never sent to our servers and never leave your device.
Server requests
Requests to the server carry standard HTTP metadata (IP address, user agent). It is not logged for tracking; the hosting provider may retain short operational logs for reliability.
Analytics
Anonymous, cookieless analytics counts page views and basic interactions. No personal data is shared with third parties.
On your device
The public list of WMATA stations is cached locally so the app starts faster. Nothing personal is cached. Uninstall the app or clear site data to remove the cache.
Data accuracy
Arrival times, alerts, and the timetable come from the public WMATA API and are provided as is. WMATA does not guarantee that the data is accurate, complete, or timely, and neither do we. Use it as a guide, not a guarantee.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top updates. Material changes will be noted in the app on next launch.
